Geofix
In my Typography 3 course, we spent the entire semester crafting our own unique typeface from the ground up. The only restriction was that the typeface couldn’t be a display font. Each week, we made new letters which we continuously edited. We eventually created numbers, symbols, ligatures, and punctuation. The end result is Geofix: a geometric sans serif typeface based on Futura that plays off of my last name Fiks (which is pronouned fix).
